  • Reports to the President and has 5-8 direct reports (Accounting Associates and Bookkeepers)
  • Meet & develop a relationship with clients to identify accounting services needs
  • Coordinate accounting strategies with our Wealth & Tax teams to ensure a cohesive, full-service client experience
  • Plan, assign, and review staff's work, including financial statements
  • Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
  • Assist in the design and preparation of budgets
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process
  • Drive the department's goal-setting process
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) principles
