Raisso is seeking a travel nurse RN Admission for a travel
nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona.Job Description & Requirements
Location: McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85006
Duration: 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension)
Shift: 8:00AM - 6:30PM
Guaranteed Hours: Scheduled for 40 but guaranteed 30.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to
join our Pre-Admission Testing team in Phoenix, AZ. This position
involves conducting pre-admission assessments for patients
scheduled for surgery or medical procedures, ensuring they are
fully prepared for their upcoming treatments. The RN will
collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure
that all necessary pre-operative requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
--- Perform thorough pre-admission assessments for patients
scheduled for surgery or procedures.
--- Evaluate patients' health status and medical history to assess
readiness for anesthesia and surgery.
--- Communicate effectively with the surgical team to coordinate
patient care plans.
--- Ensure all necessary tests, documentation, and clearances are
completed in a timely manner.
--- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure
optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
--- 24 months minimum of current OR Preadmission experience
(Required)
--- Active Certifications from American Heart Association (AHA) or
American Red Cross (Required)
o ACLS (AHA)
o BLS (AHA)
o PALS (AHA)
--- No Nursys Hits (Required)
--- No candidates with an AZ home address on their driver's license
will be considered (Required)
