  • Neuro ICU nursing position at St Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Facility is a 607 bed, nationally recognized center for quality tertiary care, medical education and research.
  • Must have Level 1 Trauma experience and 2 years of ICU experience in a large facility.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of CORE experience required in specialty being submitted to.
    • Level 1 Trauma and Teaching experience required.
    • 6 months travel experience required.
    • Candidates must pass the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam prior to acceptance.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
      • May be placed on Standby for a scheduled shift.
      • Floating required between all ICU floors and Tele Units.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit size: 32 beds in Neuro ICU.
        • Patient ratios: 1:2.
        • Common diagnoses include critical care patients with neuro diagnoses.
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS and BLS certifications required.
          • Must have EVD experience.
          • Candidates must complete a Day 1 Pass/Fail SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.
