  • Job Details
  • Neuro ICU position at St Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Facility is a 607 bed, nationally recognized center for quality tertiary care, medical education and research.
  • Level 1 Trauma experience required.
  • 2 years of CORE experience required in specialty being submitted to; Level 1 Trauma and Teaching experience required.
  • Previous travel experience required for ED and Neuro ICU.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
    • 2 years ICU experience required in large (450+) facilities.
    • 6 months travel experience required.
    • Candidates must pass the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam prior to acceptance of a position.
    • Must have EVD experience.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
      • May be placed on Standby for a scheduled shift.
      • Floating required between all ICU floors and Tele Units.
      • Work into core staff rotation for holidays.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit size: 32 beds in Neuro ICU.
        • Ratios: 1:2 for patient care.
        • Charge Nurse does not take patients.
          • Additional Details
          • Candidates cannot work another assignment/contract while working for Dignity AZ.
          • Must have strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience.
          • All profiles must include unit size, hospital size, trauma level, and EMR (Cerner experience).
          • Day 1 Pass/Fail Exam required for all RNs.
