  • COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required.
  • Flu vaccination will be required October through April.
  • Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Children's prior to starting.
  • Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the full respiratory virus season.
  • This assignment may float between our three campuses: Main, 1919 East Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85016; Avondale, 1665 North Avondale Boulevard, Avondale, AZ 85392; Arrowhead, 19007 N. 67th Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85308.
  • Days and nights available, shift will be decided during interview.
  • This position facilitates and administers respiratory care, including routine and complex procedures, using a wide variety of techniques and equipment.
  • Ensures care meets quality standards established by the hospital, department and regulatory agencies and maintains all skills and knowledge sufficient to provide safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate care to all ages of patients from neonate to adolescent.
  • This position also participates in executing quality improvement initiatives.
    • Job Requirements
    • Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
    • Two (2) years experience as a licensed respiratory therapist.
    • Minimum of one (1) year pediatric critical care experience.
    • Level III or IV NICU experience strongly preferred.
    • Current, Active, Permanent State of Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
    • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the NBRC.

        • Pediatric critical care experience required.
