  Job Summary:
  
  Coordinates comprehensive organization-wide infection surveillance, prevention and control program in accordance with current requirements of regulatory, government and accrediting/licensing agencies and organizational policies and procedures. Duties include surveillance for healthcare-associated infections (HAIs); collection, analysis, interpretation and reporting of surveillance data; outbreak investigation; and program evaluation.
  
  Education Requirements:
  
  B.S. Degree in Nursing, Microbiology, Public Health, Medical Technology, or related field and a related license or certification.
  Masters in Nursing, Public Health, or related field preferred with a related license or certification preferred
  Experience Requirements:
  
  3 years of experience in clinical/patient care services or relevant health care position
  2 years minimum experience working in Infection Prevention
  Certification/License/Registry Requirements:
