Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for a SERVICE/PARTS MANAGER to join a local equipment sales and maintenance company.

Responsibilities

Manage the procurement process for parts and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.


Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track inventory levels, orders, and usage.


Collaborate with the service department to forecast demand planning for parts based on repair schedules and customer needs.


Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing for parts procurement.


Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.


Train and supervise staff within the parts department, ensuring high standards of customer service are met.


Develop strategies to improve efficiency in parts handling and reduce lead times.





Skills

Proficiency in equipment repair and fabrication techniques relevant to automotive systems.


Experience with demand planning methodologies to anticipate parts needs effectively.


Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record in supplier management.


Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking inventory and maintenance schedules.


Experience with parts and service experience with tractors and related equipment.



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
