*** The job is on-site with a HYBRID ( 3d office / 2d home ) work schedule. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate within commuting distance of [ in the order of preference ] Birmingham AL - Phoenix AZ - Pittsburgh PA- Cleveland OH ( Strongsville ) - Dallas TX ( Farmers Branch )

Oracle Exadata Administrator :

- Provide full stack support for a large environment of 34 Exadata Appliances and 10 Oracle Recovery Appliances with expansion planned soon
- Address Exadata hardware failures through proper diagnostics and component replacement procedures
- Apply Exadata patches across all stack layers including storage cells, compute nodes, and network components
- Participate in rotating on-call off hours coverage to ensure 24/7 system availability
- Field customer requests related to Exadata infrastructure and database performance
- Collaborate with Oracle Platinum Support for complex issue resolution and hardware replacement

Required Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications) :

- Full stack Exadata support experience ( at least 5 years )
- At least 5 years of Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) experience with strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture
- Experience with full stack patching of the Exadata appliance
- Demonstrated understanding of the process for diagnosing and replacing failed components of the Exadata appliance
- Experience supporting Oracle Recovery Appliances and managing data protection strategies
- Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate replication technology and implementation methodologies
- Familiarity with Oracle Platinum Support processes and service request procedures
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager and Exadata-specific monitoring tools
