Position Overview:
Courtesy Chevrolet, a Courtesy Automotive Group dealership, is seeking a Body Frame Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies and frames to their original specifications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of vehicles following accidents or collisions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough assessments of vehicle damage and frame alignment using diagnostic equipment and visual inspection techniques.
• Repairing and realigning vehicle frames and body components to manufacturer specifications.
• Performing welding, cutting, and other metalworking tasks to repair damaged vehicle structures.
• Removing, repairing, and replacing damaged panels, bumpers, fenders, and other body components.
• Utilizing computerized measuring systems and alignment tools to ensure precise repairs.
• Following safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicating effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and other team members regarding repair processes and timelines.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Staying updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in automotive body repair. Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a formal automotive body repair program or apprenticeship.
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Body Frame Technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in welding, metalworking, and frame straightening techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair methods, and materials.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment, computerized measuring systems, and alignment tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
